The industrial forum "Advanced Engineering Technologies" was held on the basis of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great, timed to coincide with the St. Petersburg Technical Fair. The main goal of the Forum is to analyze the current situation in Russian and world engineering, automation of technological processes, digital production; discussion of development trends in metalworking. Within the framework of the Forum, a plenary meeting and panel discussions were held on the most acute issues of modern machine building .

The organizers of the forum were:

  • "BPK";
  • St. Petersburg Polytechnic University of Peter the Great;
  • Regional Association of Employers "Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg".

The forum was attended by: the first vice-president of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of St. Petersburg, M. Lobin, president of SPbPU M. Fedorov, acting rector MSTU "Stankin" E. Kataeva, director of IMMIT SPbPU A. Popovich, Director General of "BPK" D. Kaledina, as well as Russian and foreign experts.
The exposition of the Forum was visited by: First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation V. Pereverzeva, president of the federal state budget institution "National Research Center" Kurchatov Institute "M. Kovalchuk, rector of SPbPU, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences A. Rudskoye. 

 

 

The speakers included leading foreign experts, representatives of Russian industry institutes and machine-building enterprises in Russia. Among the forum participants there are specialists of the largest plants that are part of the state corporations "OSK", "Rosatom", "Roskosmos", "OAK", as well as private enterprises.

 

The plenary session dedicated to the issues of modern machine building, additive technologies and digital production was delivered by speakers with their presentations. The plenary session was opened by the pro-rector for perspective projects of SPbPU, the leader (co-director) of the working group "Technet" A. Borovkov. Also the founder and president of Buffalo Machinery (Taiwan) Paul Chang, the director of IMMIT SPbPU A. Popovich, founder of CELLRO (Holland) Bram de Koning and the chief technical specialist of the representative office of SLM in Russia P. Ladnov. Panel discussions were held in the second part of the Forum.

 

 

 

 

Within the framework of the forum an exhibition was held where participants presented their advanced scientific developments in the field of automation, additive production and new technologies in machine building:

  • Developments of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great (SPbPU) in the field of automation, additive technologies, functional gradient materials and structures in cooperation with "BPK";
  • Manufacture of machine tools on the territory of Russia under the trade name F.O.R.T. , state corporation Rosatom, SPbPU, BPK;
  • Developments of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University Peter the Great (SPbPU) in the field of measuring instruments and welding production;
  • Joint developments of SPbPU, MSTU "Stankin" and "BPK";
  • Developments FSUE NPC "Scientific Research Institute of Measurement Systems of Sedakov "- the creation of the Russian CNC system, the state corporation" Rosatom ";
  • Developments "Production Association" Start " of Protsenko, state corporation "Rosatom";
  • Manufacture of turning machining centers on the territory of Russia - machine-tool plant "Sasta";
  • CNC systems and automation of Fanuc production;
